*Note - in order to have tournaments
started "on"-time, Watauga Chess Club requires that players have paid and
registered by 8:45 a.m. on the day of our weekend tournaments. Registrants
paying after 8:45 will not be paired in the first round, but can play in future
rounds. We have implemented this change because of tournaments starting and
ending late.

Entry
Fees: If
pre-registered, $12 for regular, $7 for Jr, Sr, & Hcap. Add $3 for on-site
registration.
Donation:
Because of the Community Enrichment Center's generosity in letting us use their
large Community Room for our tournament site, please bring 2 or 3 cans of canned
food as a donation to their Food Pantry. The
Community Enrichment Center
helps low-income people and homeless families with its Food Pantry and its
Adopt-A-Family partnership.
Time Controls:
Time limit for all games is Game/60 with a 5 sec delay. The TD has the
option to shorten the basic time control for time-delay clocks per USCF rule
5Fa.
Schedule:
Registration and check-in 8:15-8:45 a.m. No first round pairings if not
registered by 8:45. 4 Round Swiss. First Round 9:00 a.m.,
all others ASAP. Lunch break after Round 2.
Prizes:
2/3rds of entry fees will be returned
as prizes. 1st/2nd open. 1st B,C,D,E/unrated. The 1st Tarrant County resident
finisher in each section will receive a trophy in addition to any other prizes.
Rating Classes:
B(1600-1799),
C(1400-1599), D(1200-1399), E & Under(100-1199), and unrated.
Equipment:
Bring sets, boards, and clocks. Some sets and boards provided. No clocks
provided.
